Free Flight

Since the early 70s, Haute Savoie and Savoie have been premier sites for free flight. There are three types of flight practiced in this discipline, hang-gliding (deltaplane), paragliding (parapente), and ultralight (ULM).

In the Annecy region, (Mt. Semnoz, Mt. Salève) and in the Faverges area, Montmin especially, one can find numerous sites from which amateurs can practice free flight, either with their own equipment or as paying passengers.

This page will attempt to regroup the various web sites devoted to free flight in the region.
